Your support of the Bi-Cultural Day School Celebration Journal Campaign is an investment in the future of the Jewish people and in the vibrancy of Jewish life in Fairfield and Westchester Counties.

Your generosity ensures our school’s ability to continue to provide the finest in American – Jewish Education to all Jewish families who wish to empower their children with an excellent foundation in general and Jewish studies, a strong Jewish identity, self-confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility.

The funds from the Journal Campaign provide need-based scholarships, ongoing professional development for our faculty and thereby more effective educational experiences for our students, new curricular initiatives in Judaic studies, and programs in creative writing, literature, and the arts which make Bi-Cultural Day School stand out among public, private, and Jewish schools in our area.

About the Bi-Cultural Day School Budget:

• The cost of a Bi-Cultural Day School education is comparable to (or lower than) that of similar private Jewish and secular elementary schools in our geographical area while offering a dual curriculum of studies.

• The average cost of educating a Bi-Cultural student is $16,400 per year. Tuition and Scholarship Fund revenue cover only 87% of our budget. The balance comes from additional generous donations.

• Bi-Cultural provides over 1 million dollars in scholarships each year. Bi-Cultural seeks to make our unique blend of Jewish and general education studies available to all Jewish children desiring a Jewish education.
